At Alpha, we want to help you make your Alpha as good and effective as possible. That's why our offices organize training sessions, and we'd like to invite you to be a part of them.
Alpha is an 11-week course that creates a space, online or in person, where people feel motivated to invite friends to have a conversation about faith, life, and God. Alpha is a tool designed for the local church based on hospitality and open conversation.
The same Alpha material is used all over the world by many Christian denominations, and it provides a common language for proclamation, service, and testimony. Millions of people have experienced Alpha in over 100 countries and 100 languages worldwide.
Hospitality
Whether in person sharing a meal or virtually sharing a cup of tea, all Alpha sessions should start with time spent connecting and relaxing to build friendships. Eating together creates a space to connect and share your life on a deeper level.
Chat
Alpha talks are designed to inspire people from all walks of life to explore life's big questions and explore the foundations of the Christian faith, with questions such as “Who is Jesus?”, “Why and how should I pray?” and “How does God guide us?”.”
Conversation
Conversation time is an opportunity for people to answer the questions that are asked, and contribute their own perspective honestly, in a friendly, open environment where they are heard.
