Why bring Alpha into prisons?

Prisons are a symptom of how we are as a society.

Over 10 million men, women, and adolescents are deprived of their liberty in the world. Behind each one of them are stories of domestic violence, addiction, lack of opportunities, and an enormous lack of love and self-esteem. Many arrive with wounds, loneliness, and a lack of purpose.

As a community of faith, we are called to approach with Compassion and companionship

Alpha offers the Church a way practical and proven to accompany faith processes within correctional facilities. It is a safe space where relationships are built, big questions are asked, and the possibility of a genuine encounter with Jesus is opened.

Alpha facilitates volunteer training, drives community outreach, and promotes reintegration. accompanies lives, transforms cultures of care, and provides resources to sustain the spiritual process beyond the initial encounter.
