We are very happy that you have decided to implement an Alpha! Whether it's your first time or you're preparing for the next one, this guide to 7 steps will accompany you in everything you need to get started.

From registering your Alpha to inviting people and facilitating great conversations, we've made the process simple, clear, and easy to follow, so you can focus on creating a space where life-changing conversations can happen.

Step 1: Create an account on My Alpha

To run an Alpha, you need to create an account on My Alpha.

Your My Alpha account is your central hub for organizing your Alpha. From there, you can register your course, access training videos and resources, and keep your Alpha information up-to-date.

Step 2: Watch the videos on the top 7 best practices

The 7 Best Practices It's a training module made up of 7 short, practical videos designed to help you lead an Alpha with confidence. You can find these videos in your dashboard. My Alpha, within the Learning Center.

Each video addresses a key aspect of the Alpha journey, offering tips, insights, and guidance on topics such as hospitality, prayer, running small groups, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Step 3: Online Safety

It is very important that you can provide your guests with a safe environment to develop your Alpha. That's why we want to share some tips so that your online Alpha can have the necessary security measures so that both you and your guests can carry out your Alpha without any problems.

Step 4: Pray

Prayer is at the heart of Alpha, because only God can open hearts and draw people to Him. Alpha is not just a series of conversations; it's a space where the Holy Spirit moves. That's why every Alpha should be sustained by prayer from beginning to end.

When we pray, we are not just paving the way, but we are inviting God's presence into every conversation, every moment, and every life. Prayer is not an optional step; it is the foundation of everything we do.

Step 5: Register Your Course in My Alpha

Take a moment to preview our series and discover which one you'd like to use on your Alpha. You can explore these options in the section «Resource Preview» within your panel in My Alpha. Once you find the series you want to use, simply click the button «Register using this series» To begin.

Step 6: Recruit and train your team

Although Alpha Online doesn't require you to greet people at the door or prepare food, you'll still need a support team. This ranges from someone to welcome guests to someone who can handle basic technical issues and help ensure everything runs smoothly.

Step 7: Promote your Alpha and invite

Inviting people to your Alpha Online might look a little different. You might not be handing out flyers or putting up banners, but there are still plenty of great ways to share the invitation. You can use leader resources, like social media templates, to promote your Alpha, or directly reach out to those you feel led to invite.

In an Alpha Online, anyone can join, so while you pray, trust that God is already working and connecting you with the right people.
