Role context

Our Vision

Our Mission
We equip the church to help people to discover and develop a relationship with Jesus.

Our Values
We are by the church and for the church.
We are passionate about unity.
We believe the church Alpha guest deserves the highest quality.
We are generous

At Alpha, we believe that everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith. It’s our aim to resource the church in its evangelistic mission through the Alpha course, a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Over the last 30 years, we estimate that over 30 million people have participated in the course in over 100 countries. In 2024, we estimate that over 43,000+ churches and organisations globally ran the course.

We have strong ambitions for growth and aim to see the number of churches running Alpha double by the end of 2026. We also want to increase the number of churches who have heard of Alpha, who are equipped and well trained to run the course, plus establish a network of 500 Hub churches around the world who are beacons of excellence in running Alpha.

To support us in reaching these ambitious goals, the Board of Alpha Colombia is looking for a National Director tasked with a focus of implementing the Church Engagement framework and driving significant church number growth across Colombia as well as key stakeholder engagement with significant donors as well as church influencers. By the end of 2026 we are looking to increase the number of churches running Alpha in Colombia to a registered number of 1,245 churches and Organizations where 50 % of the results in participants are catholic. We are looking for an experienced leader to engage extensively with the churches of influence of all denominations.
